Program Accreditation Overview

The process of program accreditation in Oman involves the licensing (by MoHE) and assessment (by OAC) of programs against national standards as depicted in the diagram below. The OAC is considering a different process for recognizing foreign programs that are offered in Oman but accredited elsewhere. This process is reflected in the lower half of the diagram, but is currently a proposal only. Further information about these processes will be added in due course.
