Oman Standard Classification of Education

Oman has established a framework for classifying fields of study. This will assist with such matters as the development of academic standards; program classification; enrolment statistics, and national reporting of academic offerings. Because it is based on international benchmarks, it may also help facilitate international credit transfer and international reporting.
